28mm Romans started day one comp

Might not look like much yet but these lads now have one coat of bolt gun metal one wash of devlan mud and a dry brush of mithril silver two trays to go will start the second in my lunch time tomorrow i was lucky my boss went away and  i got to paint in my afternoon tea as well as lunch today sadly i had to go out tonight to sing some carols down the bay so only and hour when i got home I've managed to do first layer of skin on a few.

  9. Cracking start! I've always liked the Foundry Romans even though they seem a bit small (but hey, they are Italians right?)I look forward to seeing these lads in the coming days.

    I got a good run at my Anglo-Dane command stand at the exchange of some sleep! I'll have my wife make me one of her Shock-Treatment Triple Espressos (TM) tonight so I can grind on.

    Gave me a good reason to paint, cracking into some Napoleonics.

  13. cool you and the family are okay! I just got sent another message from USGS that you guys had another one almost on top of the first one location wise and the same strength 5.8 thats kind weird! Having 2 quakes of the same size over the same spot or close to it...

  14. actually thats 3 quakes now...2xmag 5.8 and a mag 5.3 all almost over the same spot. they appear to be north of Christchurch and you guys are south so are you feeling them strongly?
