very nice but one thing , if a red horse, ie one that isn't black or grey, has a black mane and black tail it will have black lower legs and black tipped ears.. this is what a bay horse is.. and it must have , has to have, that combination, It is a genetic rule .. though sometime white stockings can mask the black leg..see http://landofthelead.blogspot.com/2011/03/some-bay-horses.html
Beautifully done - love your hand-painted shield designs. I wonder if it is actually easier for to do than transfers. I have a bunch of Celtic/Gallic LBMS transfers & I'm thinking it'll be a lot of work to cut them out (for the shield spines, etc.). Yet, I know I can't paint them as well. Regards, Dean
thanks for that but at the moment i'm not that worried about the horses but i will keep that in mind when painting for others as it is quite important i suppose.
Kent, its all good, after you went through all the expense of getting them here, it was just didn't see it as something to say anything about...The AB order just got screwed up some how..I had duplicates where I didn't need them and then there was this unit with no command that weren't Jena Prussians at all.. But like I said I just didn't have the heart to complain about it... I value your friendship over a stupid order... So we are good on my end...
Cheers,
Eric
P.s. I tried sending this to the 2 emails I have including the one email you used to comment with and they both bounced back to me...
