Well here we are again another five stands of french for my new French army I have now done 9 stands of the 40 that i intend on doing to start this army sadly most of the photos i took didn't come out. I've started work on the next batch 52 figures i've managed to two almost 3 coats of skin first undercoat of blue and first layers on the coats so hopefully get a bit more done tonight. I'm really enjoying these figures
great job my friend
ReplyDeleteReally nice work.
ReplyDeleteNice painting and basing as always. BTW, what are the size of the bases and are they for any particular ruleset? Thanks, Dean
ReplyDeleteGreat work, but the Perry Bros must be dirty rich by now. I've seen several "hundred" blogs (including mine!!!) with photos of the French Napos painted and based... this is a virus spreading. I wish I was a shareholder of the twin's company!!!
ReplyDeleteReal nice...great basing
ReplyDeleteGreat work !!! Very well painting !!!
ReplyDeletethanks guys for the comments, the bases are 50x 50 and they are based for Lasalle some guys i know are trying out and convinced me to give the plastics a go, they are very nice but i think i will end up replacing them with metals down the track
ReplyDeleteVery nice painting and basing!
ReplyDeleteLovely figurines as always! - Only crit: I think that 40x40 is already quite a lot for 4 miniatures. 50x50 just doesn't look right to me. i usually put 6 figures on 45x40.
ReplyDeleteAnd Dito about Plastic vs. Metal.
Great job mate! I have about 10 boxes of these fellows to paint...wanna help? ;) Just kidding...:)
ReplyDeleteCheers.
Oh yea I mount mine for GdB on 45x40 with 6 figs per base for these guys.
ReplyDeleteCheers.
I have based my Perry's individually in 20 x20 mm bases, fix magnetic tape at the bottom and used sabots adapated to different rules sets (I'm fed up with rebasing). In the case of Lasalle i use 4 figuresin a 40 x 40 mm base
