28mm WW2 Bolt action German 251/1 Half track and Marder III AUSF M

 Woke up today and decided what the heck lets do some painting

so i got out my trusty airbrush which i still have no idea what i'm doing when using

and set up the table for some painting, also did a pak 38 and crew but ill base them before taking pics

 I've no had the greatest success with 28mm Vehicles but i'm happy ish with these

 Still a bit of work to do on highlights but mostly comnplete

28mm British light cav and life guards completed, merry Christmas to all

Another batch completed ready to head off on their merry way this will be the last figures before Christmas but maybe not before the end of the year will have to see how much time i have.

I'd like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year, I know i haven't posted a lot this year but do hope you have enjoyed what i have.

40mm AWI independence test figures, and 28mm Carthiginian test figures

When i start a new job i always do test figures to make sure that i'm happy with how the figures turn out but also to make sure that whoever i'm painting for is happy with the colour's of uniforms 

 With these guys i wanted to make sure that my style of painted was good for 40mm, i decided to do 7 layers of colour instead of my normal 3 -4 still only three colours but the middle colour has 5 layers of watered down to give a smoother finish and a better layering of colour

These are Victrixs figures they have great detail but i must admit i do love painting metal 

so will be happy when they are all completed and sent on their way

28mm Front Rank Napoleonic British light cav and life guards cav

 these guys are some of my favorite for some reason they just appeal to me the buff facings

just catch the eye, I hope that Reg is as happy with them as i am. So now i need to get them based ready to head to their new home

Here we have some British Life Guards i had so much fun painting its a shame that the photos don't show how nice the red came out, i gave it four layers instead of my normal three and they really pop.

28mm WarLord Games Napoleonic Russian command stands completed

 These guys have been sitting around in a box for far to long, thew figures are Warlord Games and even though they are not my favourite Napoleonic miniatures i thought they came out quite good , I added an extra layer of green to make them pop a little more, These figures complete the Russians for now next is British light Cav.

28mm front rank Russian Ulhans

 Well here we are again completed these guys  a few weeks back and posted them off was really pleased with the completed figures, Front Rank really do make wonderful figures

28mm Front Rank cossacks finished Ulhan test figure and command figures work in progress

 these are the first of a series of cavalry that i've been working on or are about to i love Front Rank figures and find them very easy to paint

 the Figure below is a Russian Ulhan and he is my test figure to make sure i have the colours correct i'm quite pleased with the figure and at the time of this post of the 12 cavalry 75 percent completed

 the figures below had been sitting in a box for far to long so i decided it was time to get them done so just need to blacken the bases paint and grass and they are ready to go

I've undercoated the next batch of cav which is 16 English hussars should be fun after that i have 12 french lancer to do so lots of horses to paint

28mm Front Rank Cossack's & Priest and 28mm Warlord games commander

 On the paintinting table this week are 28mm Russians part of a collection that i've worked on over a few years for Reg, after these fellas its 12 front Rank Uhlans  and some more command figures to make a command base with the Priest, then on to some British cav

40k miniatures for my son Justin

these ships were a small part of a massive score of figures i picked up

i have completely repainted them for Justin

 working on lava flow

 My son picked this figure up on  a trip to see his girlfriend he's was fun to paint

a blood angel figure that i though what the heck ill give it a try

 the next three photos are of a test figure i've done for my sons eldar army

 My son is starting to pile on the figures you don't want to see what i picked up for him for his birthdayso many figures this is just a tiny part of it they are all painted as blood angels or not painted at all so heaps to do i've started by air brushing some base coats.
