28mm Victrix Carthaginian Veterans, Citizens and war elephants

 I really like these Victrix miniatures they have such great detail

as long as you are careful with the spears everything is great even so if you

have problems with their spears they are so nice i'd cut them off drill out the hands

and bam all's good, I got myself a new camera just after Christmas and at last feel as though im getting better pictures

 these first pictures are the Veterans

below are the citizens i really liked these but man those  transfers were fun

still they look a heap better than if i had painted the shields myself

 and a few war elephants to round of once again by Victrix the transfers are by little big men.

 So you might ask what the heck is an historical painter doing

painting fantasy miniatures well the story goes like this

once apon a time there was a friend with heaps of historical miniatures and man did i want them 

so what the heck im paint heaps of this stuff to get my wee hands on them

and you know something i'm im enjoying the variety of miniatures and style change of painting

 I've really enjoyed pushing myself to see how much its possible to do

in a week , even with a few days a week not painting

 this Chap is an Aide-de-camp top a full marshal

and after applying some green stuff both he and the one below

are both saved from the bin

 this one is Aide-de-camp to Murat

the Dragoons below are the 10th regiment

 Then these guys are old Guard chasseur's

 i managed to get this block of line infantry done just before

the entry was due

 and then i just did this guy because i need some fun
