flames of war smashed

So the other night i had a great game of flames of war so what do is put the box on the ground by the car while i put another container in the car and identically give the box a good kick and smash the lot, bummer 

Union ACW WIP update

Hi guys, yes i'm back to work on the ACW army there's 141 infantry plus 6 command  in this batch plus 1 horse holder and 3 horse. today after 4hours  i finished the jackets with there final highlights and made sure that all the pants are the same base coat after deciding not to keep the ones i had already painted but to repaint them

 next to complete will be to do the next two layers on all the pants, some are already done but not that many.  so that's it for now

SYW British/ Romans basing

 I started the basing of a few figures that i've been working this past week plus some Romans that have been ready for quite a while i did the romans because i've been working on the rest of them at work this week and hope to have them completed before Christmas the SYW guys are coming along well and i hope to have them in the post by the end of the week

 I'll make sure i get some better photos before they head on their way

SYW British

 Hi Guys well this week i have had to move away from the ACW to a batch of SYW figures that need completing they still have a wee way to go but are getting there, I've also been working on some roman infantry but we'll leave that till another day.

ACW army update one week in

after four attempts at the pants i have finally got it right the last bat was far to bright the picture below show my final attempt.

Well it,s been one week since i started painting my ACW army the first part above has had all the skin done and the base coats of the pants and jackets  i have also done a bit on the cav command and a few other things the rest i undercoated today as you can see there is still a long way to go

Great Northern Wars Russian cav plus all done

 the pictures are of the last 12 Russian cav that i did in the last couple of days, it's about time i started pulling finger and started getting some work done again. Below i finish the last highlights today on the Swedish cav

 I also finished the Russian guns they have a layer of black red then devlan mud the black red again then saddle brown highligh to finish.  so we have 60 cav 3 guns and crew to add to the infantry that i had already complete, army done. So now i'm back to syw British and ACW union 

Great northern wars WIP

 Well it's slowly moving along on the painting desk this week I've added a couple of shots of the Russian artillery crew finished and the Swedish cav WIP shots, I did the base coat today on all the horses and the third coat on the buff plus the gold well some of the gold still all the fine gold bits to do yet. I really want to get these guys finished so i can start on my ACW project which i've based and undercoated about 150 infantry plus the command figures, managed to pick up another box of cav so only two boxes of cav and four of infantry to glue up.

 For some reason you can't see the layers of colour in these artillery lads there are three on both the red and blue oh well they look great on my desk the guns are only on the first coat lots still to do

 I think these lads are going to look great on the battle field lots of colour
