SYW Hanoverian artillery update

 Well I've been slowly working away on these during my 30min lunch break for the past week and a bit and they are finally almost finish just a couple of little things left to do, I started the guns the other night and they all have one coat of paint one of wash and i started the metal today

 Three of these guns belong to the British which i will start once i have completed the dragoons

you can see from the bottom picture how you get the grain effect this gun still needds two highlights on the wood work and then finish the metal

Sorry about the quality of the picture believe it or not these guys have three layers of paint on all the blue red and buff but you wouldn't think so tomorrow i'll add the gold buttons and start on the wood and metal they actually look real nice in the flesh. I've started the guns three have the base coat, but not a lot of work here this week i have a sermon to prepare for church this week which will take up quite a bit of my time.

 Here's a couple of shoots of some figures that i'm working on for some reason i went a bit mad and based them before i had checked that they were complete, very strange thing to do the infantry need a highlight on the guns the command stand above well it has quite a few details left to do, also i have completely run out of grasses and flowers so need to do a large order

28mm Perry miniatures Napoleonic Staff set

 I'd been working on these figures for a while painting one here or there and then putting them away finally decided it was time to finish them off. The base is one of my wife's coasters or should i say it was, she won't be putting cups of tea on these lads.

28mmFront Rank, Laffert Regiment Finished

 This is another Regiment finished as part of Reg's SYW Project that i have been working on for the past year and a half, I think it's been that long, this is the last of the Hanoverian  infantry, I've started work on the gun crews for 9 guns The flags staffs need a bit of trimming to size but that,s it. Really happy with the end result, they will be in the post tomorrow.

well tomorrow the big Game Craig and i are hosting a game with Dave and Steve 600pts per side 2 commands each one is a German allies the other 3 are Roman

 Yesterday i glued a box of Auxiliaries together and painted them up finished them this morning and based them ready for tomorrow

 Well i'm still working on these guys but hope to have them completed tonight, I've undercoated the next group of 6, 12pdrs 4, 9pdrs 2, 6pdrs and crew then it will be on to the cav to go with these guys, once that is all done then it will be time to start the British and it all begins again.
