Well this will be the last you will see these stands until after they have been on the analogue web site, i decided i need to finish a few so as to get my numbers started in the comp did the shields and second coat on wood plus gold today so 24 done 130 to go
might have to spend time with the family tonight i think and i have a message to write for church but no doubt i'll find time somewhere.
They look fantastic! A well painted roman army alway looks fantastic regimented up!
ReplyDeleteYou are a painting machine sir!
Very nice work! Nonetheless, any more pics and I'd have to seize them for breach of contract. ;P
ReplyDeleteReally great!
ReplyDeletegood looking stuff, what is that stuff you use on your bases? I noticed it on some of the bases I got from you and have forgot to ask since...

Fantastic, what an output and such good quality too! What are the competition rules about basing? Can you just leave them plain?
ReplyDeleteGreat looking Romans - I'm very impressed with the hand painted shields - very well done.

Very, very nice, the shields alone look superb!!!
ReplyDeleteOutstanding figures and the hand-painted shields are over the top good. I actually think they look BETTER than decals - and more historically accurate.
ReplyDeleteLovely stuff.
Beautiful Kent. Really like those shields. Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI think they will need to be based properly Michael, I will finish the bases today. I've started on a new batch of skin,as another quake rattled through this morning. My daughter came out a bit frightened.
ReplyDeletethe stuff on the bases is polly filler i find that if i mix turps with enamel black it soaks in and covers the base very easily.
ReplyDeleteThese look great!
