I've now finished the third batch and only have the basing to complete also i've started my marder II's , also i've noticed that i need to paint the gold standard with another coat of gold. I've finished the fourth batch of infantry except for the shields which will be done tomorrow
Still a lot of work to do on these lads
Wow - you are churning them out...! What's our basing method - looks like tetrion??? Figures just pressed into it, or do you glue first and then put the tetrion on after??
ReplyDeletethe figures a pressed into polly filler don't know what you call it where you are, once dry it's as hard as rock and i then use a mix of turps and black enamel paint which soaks into the base mix real easy soaks ina nd around the based figures no hard spots to reach
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work Kent. The shields are amazing.
ReplyDeleteCheers Galpy - poly filler I know :o)
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed - I wouldn't thought it was "sticky" enough to stay adhered to the wooden bases.......
Wow! Wonderfully done, the shields are particularly impressive.
ReplyDeleteMost impressive - I a pleased to see you painting the shields instead of dealing on print-outs.
ReplyDeleteYou Sir, are a machine! Great work all round. I'd like to get some Marders for my FoW forces too.
