Well here we are again at the beginning of a new army this time it's English civil war, I picked this up off trademe a year ago there's about 80 cav to base up as well, they are all foundry figures. Yesterday i undercoated them and this morning I've paint the first coat of flesh on about half of them, now i'm off fishing with my son.
Oh And to all those who visit my blog I'm on the lookout for foundry early imperial roman auxiliaries.
so if you have some let me know and we will see what we can work out.
Goodness that's an awesome sight! Really looking forward to seeing what you do with these.
ReplyDeleteThere are many, many figures there. Are you going to paint all of them at the same time?
ReplyDeleteOh my, you sure do things in quantity (not to mention quality too!). Best, Dean
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing these guys painted up. Enjoy the fishing.
ReplyDeleteThey're gonna be worth a hell of a lot of points, in the Challenge!!! Any idea what regts your going to paint yet?
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a big job. I look forward to watching your progress.
ReplyDeleteSince i no next to nothing about ecw, never played it and don't have rules I think i'll get all the basics done and at the same time start my research
ReplyDeleteWow.. that is quite a few, and impressive on the full foundry line also. Looking to get into more historical stuff so will follow this project closely.
ReplyDeleteWill be interested to watch this project, I have an ECW army on the back burner.
ReplyDeleteKent - in all seriousness mate, how do you do it? How do you get so much done? Whats the trick, if there is one? You've already got more done for the challenge in a couple of weeks than I would get done in a year! Your sidebar blurb makes you sound like a regular guy - married, kids, presumebaly a regular 9-5 job? domestic duties to do, gardens to mow and other interests etc etc... How the hell do you do it?????? Please inform I'm all ears? Do you sleep? ;-)
ReplyDeleteReally inspiring - it will look quite awesome with the cavalry mixed in.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be an impressive army. Have fun.
