Here's my latest entry into the Analogue hobbies comp  I'm really pleased with the way final look. I will be adding some meadow flowers when they arrive.

  1. More fantastic work Sir! Just as a matter of interest do the artillerymen count on the infancy tally?

  2. Really love those!

I've got to paint some myself in a month or so. What blues did you use?

    Cheers, Simon

  9. Lovely work - would you care to share your recipe for painting the woodwork on the guns? I've still not found a decent set of acrylic paints for French artillery.

    Best wishes

  10. the wood work is velljio reflective green base coat ( do the metal as well) the coat whole gun in Devlan mud wash (citadel) then repaint the wood grain in reflective green again. If you want you can then do a extra wood grain high light by adding a very small amount of sky grey to the green, the guns in these pictures don't have the last highlight on them
