Great looking bases and figures. In my humble opinion a 4-stand 81mm (or 3" for the British) mortar squad is the single best value for the points in any force that can take one.
They're affordable, man-packed for mobility, and can put down a cheap 2-template smoke screen. They also make short work of any enemy infantry and gun teams that are silly enough to be moving about.
If you take the mortar platoon you get 1 observer team per section so looks like he has mae a spare command team or two.
As for commanders, I do the same as Kent, only my Company Commander gets 3 figs. 3 Figs squashed together on a small base as a command stand looks silly (IMO)
Looking good. Nice paint work and basing.

Question - why so many observer stands and where is your command stand (3 figures) ??
ReplyDeleteone stand is my 2ic from my main force i didn't do a 3 stand command stand because i never have except for my cnc other than that i don't know.
