Well I finally did it I started my french 28mm Napoleonic army But not with metals i think i will head down that road a little later when i am satisfied that i've got the painting right. here's a couple of shots of where i'm at for this week still a lot to go yet. I think i'll do an extra light shade of skin. I'm having fun thats for sure but i think as i do more i'll improve. The perry plastics are a much finer model to paint than the front rank but in the end should come out very nice.
The second batch is underway but even more work to be done and thanks to Chirs the next box arrived glued which i have now based ready to undercoat.
Nice painting so far. Looking forward to the end results.
ReplyDeleteYour doing a great job on these, cant wait to see them based up. I've been strong and kept away from this period,........ your not making it any easier. Keep up the production.
ReplyDeleteGreat work as usual! Painting 28mm is a bit different than 15mm huh? I have a bunch of Perry and Victrix French Cav and Inf as well as British Infantry and some highlanders including that box I got from you to paint I have just not gotten the nerve up to paint them... ;-)
ReplyDeleteLooking great; so these will be in your personal collection I take it. I really like Perry and Victrix - although Victrix has more parts, I like them better for the variety. Dean
ReplyDeleteYes they will be for my own collection. Should be fun
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Galpy
