quite happy with what i've done in past few days still a lot more hedge rows to do i bought some bigger trees to add in and ill do some more stone walls, the next house has a iron and stone fence in front so will have to start thinking of how to do that
i started adding the shutters to the second building in the photo below
any suggestions or tips please let me know your thoughts
They look great kent! Nice
ReplyDeleteThxs Andy been a long time since I've made terrain pieces
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely wonderful and they remind me that I have been putting off making hedges for far too long now. Love the addition of the shutters, just a couple of flowering window boxes to go. ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures and minis, love your 'Café de Normandie'...!
ReplyDeleteExcellent looking terrain, Kent! I was just musing that I've not gamed WW2 in a long time.
ReplyDeleteSuperb terrain! You might want to close one or two sets of shutters to reflect the need for privacy and to break up the appearance of rows and rows of open windows.
ReplyDeleteYour scratch built stuff rivals any that I've seen from commercial manufacturers.
Well Done!
Jerry
Nicely done. The buildings are great. Hedges could use a bit more height, but the bottom portions look spot on.
ReplyDeleteBoth look spot on. Too often our terrain is too 'clean'. Yours looks just right - much closer to period photos.
